Kozuki Oden is a prominent character in the manga and anime series One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda. He first appears indirectly through mentions and depictions, with his formal introduction occurring much later in the Wano Country arc.

Oden was the daimyo of Kuri in Wano Country and the son of the former shogun, Kozuki Sukiyaki. Known for his rebellious and adventurous spirit, Oden left Wano to become a pirate, joining first the Whitebeard Pirates and then the Roger Pirates.

Oden possessed immense strength and skill, wielding the legendary swords Ame no Habakiri and Enma. He was a master swordsman and a powerful Haki user. He played a vital role in Gol D. Roger's journey to Laugh Tale, helping decipher the Poneglyphs and contributing to the discovery of the One Piece.

Tragically, Oden was betrayed by Kurozumi Orochi and Kaido, leading to his execution. His final act of defiance involved holding back a flood of boiling oil to save his retainers, solidifying his legendary status in Wano Country.
